Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee 2012

With Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee is fast approaching, marking the Queens accession to the throne on the 6th of February 1952 after the death of her father King George VI 60 years ago.

Queen Victoria has been the only monarch to celebrate their Diamond Jubilee previously. The Queens Golden Jubilee was in 2002 in which many a street party took place to celebrate.

2012 will be a fantastic year for the Royal Family with the Queens Diamond Jubilee, the London Olympics and Para-Olympics in which the Olympic Park in East London will be named the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. In March 2011, the Royal Commonwealth Society also launched the Jubilee Time Capsule to mark the Jubilee.

Silver Crown Collection

Silver Crown Collection

British crowns or more affectionately known as five shilling pieces, are one of the most sought after coins by collectors. The first crown was struck in 1551 continuing until today. Each coin measures 38mm in diameter and made of sterling silver (George V & VI are made of .500 fine) and each coin will be fine to extremely fine condition. A magnificent collection to add to your family treasure.

British Gold Sovereigns and Guineas

Only ten years ago British gold sovereigns were sold for £67.50 and all the professionals were criticising the high price, now look, since then the price has continued to rise yearly and now the same sovereign will cost you over £260 more. What else has maintained that increase? Bear in mind, however, that prices can also fall as well as rise but the smarter customer has a little of many investments in their portfolio, and lets face it a pound note or a share certificate is only a piece of paper backed by a promise and hope.

Despite the current financial climate, decisions taken now could secure the groundwork for your future prosperity. Gold is a solid, tangible asset and not just paper

Please browse our gold sovereigns we have for sale. We are able to offer all dates that have been issued since 1489. If you do not see them here why not email/phone us for a quote for the type you are looking for.

Tek Sing Shipwreck cargo

I am not sure whether this is the right place to ask such a question but we are the owners of a very large quantity of the Tek Sing cargo porcelain which was salvaged in 1999 by Mike Hatcher and purchased by us at auction the following year. We are trying to find a buyer/investor for part or the whole consignment and thought maybe someone in the shipwreck business just may know of an interested party for such a deal. We would very genious if deal proceeds and it will be payable upon completion. Any suggestions would be eagely followed up if required with regular updates of any progress

Would be delighted to hear from anyone with infomation just to prove were not alone

This is the first blog we have set up, so if it appears amateurish, your right!!
